Muscle Weakness

Muscle weakness is a part of the neurological fatigue I mentioned earlier in this chapter. When EBV’s neurotoxins get to the brain, they can cause very mild, undetectable encephalitis (brain inflammation) that affects the nervous system and weakens muscles. In many cases, it will be misdiagnosed as MS or Lyme disease at the doctor’s office. When someone has both adrenal fatigue and neurological fatigue at the same time, this weakness can be worse. However, this symptom can occur as a result of neurological fatigue alone, too.
