Watch: Rogue Derms
Rogue Derms
Once humans, like all demons were, these tortured souls used their free will to go rogue. Before becoming rogue derms and working for any manner of chaos, these souls go through a self-trial period. These are the souls of hopelessness. They are the lost souls who believe they are hopeless, some of whom eventually self-elect to become rogue demons.
During their self-trial, the tortured, rogue souls that eventually become demons are completely coming to the self-realization that there isn't a fragment of good within their soul that's worth fighting for, so they're self-electing to become demons. Their level of non-compassion, ill intention, and hardships caused to others with no remorse is overtaking them to the point of demonship.
There are different varieties of rogue derms, including derms of static, derms of the family tree, derms of lone horse, derms of dwelling, derms of hospital, derms of ceiling, derms of push-pull, derms of monkey, and more. There are a lot of rogue derms around—a lot where they're not trying to create the worst of harm, yet they're there to create confusion, create emotional whiplash, create mischief.
The demons that impersonate ghosts and materialize in person or on camera are often rogue derms. There are lots of rogue demons that are free floating. For example, the roaming, free-floating derms of the family tree passed down from generation to generation, or derms of lone horse or derms of dwelling that inhabit houses or furniture.
Rogue derms, such as derms of dwelling and derms of lone horse, don't normally have direct access to fallen angels. They're off the beaten path, not the typical derms of devotion that fallen angels are using for larger atrocities on the planet. If a rogue derm runs into a fallen angel, it may not bode well for that demon's future, as the demon may be punished.
