Mango Smoothie
Mango speaks for itself in this recipe with its sweet, luscious flavor that blends into a beautifully creamy smoothie. Enjoy this simple smoothie with or without the vanilla bean powder for a refreshing treat.
When you eat mango before bed, phytochemicals from the fruit, along with amino acids such as glycine, glutamine, and cysteine combined with fructose and glucose, travel to the brain and quickly restore depleted neurotransmitters. This allows most insomniacs a chance to finally get some true rest during the night.
Mango Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 2 cups peeled and chopped fresh mango (or thawed from frozen)
- 1 cup coconut water, more if needed
- ¼ tsp pure vanilla bean powder (optional)
Directions:
Add the mango, coconut water, and pure vanilla bean powder (if using) to a blender. Blend on high until smooth and creamy. If desired, add a bit more coconut water for a thinner consistency. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
