This simple smoothie is a quick and easy way to pack in plenty of leafy greens without having to chomp through a big salad. The banana or mango not only gives this smoothie its sweetness it also provides critical glucose to drive the nutrients from the greens to where they need to go in the body.
Bananas are bonded to critical life-supporting trace minerals such as manganese, selenium, copper, boron, and molybdenum, and large amounts of minerals such as potassium, which is one of the most critical nutrients for neurotransmitter function.
Mangoes are wonderful for stress assistance and viral protection, they are also rich in beta-carotene to strengthen and support the skin; they are even a helpful preventative for all varieties of skin cancers.
Leafy greens such as spinach and romaine lettuce help with intestinal disorders. They help create a more alkaline stomach composition by raising beneficial hydrochloric acid levels, which in turn kills off the unproductive bacteria that create the bad acids responsible for GERD and other forms of acid reflux. They help reduce H. pylori, which is often responsible for stomach ulcers.
Celery’s rich organic sodium content has the ability to dislodge calcium deposits from the joints and hold them in solution until they can be eliminated safely from the kidneys. Celery is a well known natural diuretic and has ample ability to flush toxins out of the body. Celery also has significant anti-inflammatory properties making it an essential food for those who suffer from auto-immune illnesses.
