Green Mango Smoothie
This delicious healing smoothie is a fantastic vehicle for getting in some much needed greens. Most people don’t consume enough greens, when really our health can’t reach its potential without an abundance of them. This combination of mango, three of my favorite greens (spinach, spirulina, and barley grass juice powder), and orange juice or coconut water tastes delicious, while providing key minerals and antioxidants our bodies deeply need.
Green Mango Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 2 cups frozen mango
- 1 tsp spirulina
- 1 tsp barley grass juice powder
- 1 cup tightly packed spinach
- 1¼ – 1½ cups freshly squeezed orange juice or coconut water, to desired thickness
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth, adding orange juice or coconut water to desired thickness. Serve immediately.
Serves 1-2
Tips:
- You can use either orange juice or coconut water or you can try a mix of both.
