Dulse, Tomato, And Avocado Salad
Ingredients:
- 1 avocado, peeled and diced
- 2 cups thinly sliced or chopped tomato
- 1 cup thinly sliced or chopped cucumber
- ¼ cup thinly sliced sweet onion
- ½ cup chopped Atlantic dulse strips
- 2 tbsps freshly squeezed lemon juice
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsps roughly chopped basil or dill (optional)
Directions:
Combine the avocado, tomato, cucumber, onion, and dulse in a large mixing bowl. Gently mix until evenly mixed.
Add lemon juice and red pepper flakes (if using) and basil or dill (if using). Gently toss all the ingredients together until well combined and evenly coated with lemon juice and any optional seasonings. Serve immediately or refrigerate until needed.
