It’s hard to beat the flavor combination of cherries, dates, bananas, and lime zest. This smoothie brings it all: it’s sweet, tart, and creamy. If you prefer a frosty and extra creamy smoothie, you can use frozen bananas and/or cherries. This smoothie tastes great with water or coconut water as the liquid base, but you could also use some almond milk if you want something extra indulgent.
Cherries are a great source of melatonin, a nutrient-based hormone that helps your neurotransmitters and glial cells.
Bananas provide amino acids and the right kind of potassium to rebuild neurotransmitters.
